Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer for the North West to service and maintain heavy commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems across food production, bakery and brewery sectors.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and repairs, with site visits across the region. A valid UK driving licence and F-Gas Cat 1 are required, with overtime opportunities and a company van available.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy commercial and light industrial refrigeration systems.
• Proficient in fault finding and preventative/repair maintenance.
• Ability to perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on cold rooms and chillers.
• Fault find and repair on food production refrigeration equipment.
• Visit sites across the North West and United Kingdom for service calls.

Salary: GBP44000 - GBP48000 per annum + Door to Door, Overtime, Van

Location: North West

Salary: Up to £48,000 DOE

Refrigeration Engineer required in the North West. Our client is a well-established refrigeration and process engineering company with a reputation built on technical excellence and quality of delivery. They specialise in the design, installation, service and maintenance of all types of heavy commercial & light industrial refrigeration systems, specialising in the food production, bakery & brewery sectors.

Refrigeration Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Up to £48,000 Basic Salary DOE
• Door to Door travel paid
• Plenty of overtime available paid at 1.5x & 2x
• 1 in 6 on call rota - £200 retainer paid + overtime rates for call out
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
• Company van provided with optional personal use
• Planned and reactive maintenance, service, fault finding and repairs on Cold Rooms, Freezer Rooms, Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers
• Visiting sites across food production, bakery & brewery sectors
• Happy with travel to various sites across the UK.
