Refrigeration Engineer - Position Overview

Our client is a specialist Refrigeration & Process Cooling contractor based in the Greater Manchester area. They provide design, installation, service, and maintenance of large commercial and light industrial refrigeration equipment. We are seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to cover the East Midlands to North London region.

Refrigeration Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary up to £40,000 DOE
• Overtime paid at 1.5x/2x
• Door-to-door travel paid
• 1 in 5 on-call rota, £150 standby allowance + call-out overtime rates

Key Responsibilities

The Refrigeration Engineer will perform planned and reactive maintenance, attend breakdowns, fault-find, and carry out maintenance on equipment such as Cold Rooms, Chillers, Process Cooling Systems, Blast Freezers, and Spiral Freezers.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with Chiller & Process Cooling systems
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience as a time-served engineer
• Full driving license
• Located between the Midlands and North London
