Job summary

White Recruitment Construction in Leeds is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to carry out planned maintenance, service, and repairs on commercial refrigeration systems across diverse sites in the North of England. You will diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, complete service documents, and ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.

A valid F-Gas Category 1, full UK driving licence, and excellent customer-facing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 qualification is required.
• Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and reactive repairs on commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and rectify refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical faults across a range of customer sites.
• Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure equipment is returned to service quickly and efficiently.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately using company systems.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships while delivering a high standard of workmanship.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with F-Gas regulations and health & safety standards.

What You’ll Need:

• Previous experience working as a Refrigeration Engineer within commercial refrigeration
