Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in London, working on CO2 refrigeration systems across a major supermarket estate. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance across multiple stores, with an on-call rota and a structured workload.

Based near Brixton/London Bridge, the role offers a 40-hour week, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a company van and tools, and on-site support for career development within a stable permanent contract.

Qualifications

• NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1)
• Full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites (supermarkets)
• Working with CO2 refrigeration pack systems
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence

Education

NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1)

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts. You'll be working on a major UK supermarket estate, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple stores. The work is structured, the expectations are clear, and the on-call rota is planned.

Key Responsibilities – Refrigeration Engineer

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites
