Omega is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our team and support a major supermarket estate across the UK. You will conduct planned and reactive maintenance on CO₂ refrigeration pack systems in multiple stores, with a structured on-call rota and clear expectations.

The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs or replacements as needed, completing PPMs, and executing minor alterations within your competence.

Formación

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilidades

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

You’ll be working on a major UK supermarket estate, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple stores. The work is structured, the expectations are clear, and the on-call rota is planned.

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites
• Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement where required
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence

Qualifications & Experience – Refrigeration Engineer

• NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1)
• Full UK driving licence
• £53,319.42 (salary including on call standby 1:4 + 5% SLA)
• 45 hour week
• 25 days + 8 bank holidays
• Travel time after ½ hour each way
