Job summary

Solutions Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a full-time, permanent role covering London and Greater London. You will service, maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration systems in Aldi and Lidl stores in the region.

The candidate should have a strong refrigeration background, UK driving licence, and City and Guilds/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration, plus supermarket/retail experience. CO2/R290 certificates are a plus; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong working background as a Refrigeration Engineer.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City and Guilds/NVQ level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration.
• Based in London or the Home Counties.
• Experience working in supermarket or retail environments.
• Fgas2079 (cat1).
• Holding CO2 and R290 Certificates would be a bonus (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance and breakdown of refrigeration systems in Aldi and Lidl stores within the region.
• Work on cold rooms, pack systems and chest freezers.

Position: Refrigeration Engineer

Salary: from £42,000 to £50,000 (subject to experience level) plus door to door travel

Duration: Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer for a full time, permanent position covering London and Greater London. This engineer will be dealing with the service, maintenance and breakdown of refrigeration systems within Aldi and Lidl stores in the region.

The right person for this position will already have a strong working background as a Refrigeration Engineer. They need to have experience within supermarket and retail sites.

This Refrigeration Engineer should have experience with cold rooms, pack systems and chest freezers. It would be a major advantage if this person is qualified with CO2 and R290; however, training will be provided.
