Refrigeration Engineer Position

Our client, a specialist in commercial and transport refrigeration, is seeking a Refrigeration Engineer to work on transport refrigeration units and cold rooms/cold stores. Responsibilities include servicing, repairs, and some installation work.

Remuneration

• Basic Salary: £40,000 to £47,500 depending on experience
• Door-to-door travel paid
• Working hours: 8am - 5pm
• Optional overtime paid at additional rates (x1.5 and x2 for Sundays)
• 1 in 4 weeks call-out rota (standby payment £80)
• Van and fuel card provided

Position Overview

The Commercial Refrigeration Engineer will be mainly mobile around Sussex, with occasional travel to Surrey and Kent. Must have experience with cold rooms and transport refrigeration, hold NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration (or equivalent), and F-Gas Cat 1 qualifications.
