Refrigeration Engineer – Yorkshire Region

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to cover the Yorkshire region on a range of commercial (non-retail) sites. There will also be occasional work in other locations, including Luton, so a willingness to travel is essential. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a busy and growing company.

Candidate Requirements

1. Demonstrable experience working within a Refrigeration Service role
2. Exposure to working on commercial equipment, including Screw Compressor Pack, Ice Machines, Walk-ins, and Display Cabinets
3. F-GAS certification is mandatory
4. Full UK Driving Licence

Employment Details

Type: Permanent role with immediate start
Hours: Monday - Friday, 45 hours (including 1 hour unpaid lunch). All overtime paid at premium rates.
Location: Yorkshire, with some work in Luton and other locations

Travel: Door-to-door travel included

Key Responsibilities

1. Service and maintenance of various equipment, from Ice Machines to small chillers and screw packs
2. Carrying out service and repair tasks to a high standard (install work may be required occasionally)
3. Completing SOP tasks accurately and promptly
4. Updating service records and timekeeping information efficiently
5. Maintaining client reporting systems with accuracy and timeliness

Skills & Qualifications

1. Time-served refrigeration engineer
2. F-GAS Cat 1 certification
3. Proven experience in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration Service roles
