Refrigeration Engineer is required. Our client is a specialist Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company who are looking to expand their service team. The Refrigeration Engineer should be based within the Yorkshire area.

The Refrigeration Engineer will be performing planned and reactive service, install, repair and maintenance. It will be across variety of commercial refrigeration equipment such as refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling and bottle coolers. Customers and sites are within the commercial and retail sector such as Pubs, clubs, shops, Restaurant, and Hotels.

It is also expected that the Refrigeration Engineer will hold recognised qualifications and certifications such as an NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or the City & Guilds equivalent as well as F-Gas or Safe Handling of Refrigerants. It is also advantageous to have multiply years' experience due to lone working.

Reactive service and maintenance of small to medium commercial refrigeration systems for customers within the retail sector, familiarity of air conditioning systems would be a distinct advantage.

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience on small to medium commercial refrigeration systems
• Experience working on refrigeration cabinets, cold rooms, ice machines, cellar cooling, and bottle coolers.
• Knowledge of air conditioning service works
• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Safe Handling of Refrigerants or F-Gas
• Salary up to £34,000 - £36,400

• Working hours 8am - 4:30pm

• Call Out Rota - 1 in 4 weekends. On the week following an engineer being on call, they will be working a later shift for the Monday to Friday, from 2pm to 10pm (and will qualify for overtime rates at x1.5 for hours worked past 4:30pm).
