Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join a major UK supermarket contract. Based in Tunbridge Wells, you will maintain CO₂ refrigeration systems across multiple stores, carrying out planned and reactive tasks with a structured on-call rota.

The role requires NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, F-Gas Category 1, and a full UK driving licence. A permanent position with 40 hours a week and a comprehensive package is offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1).
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across retail sites.
• Working with CO₂ refrigeration pack systems.
• Diagnosing faults and recommending repair or replacement where required.
• Completing PPMs, reactive work and repairs during planned store visits.
• Carrying out small alterations and installations within your competence.

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

You’ll be working on a major UK supermarket estate, carrying out planned and reactive refrigeration maintenance across multiple stores. The work is structured, the expectations are clear, and the on-call rota is planned.
