Job summary

GET Staff is seeking Refrigeration Class 1 Drivers for Portsmouth and Chichester. You will operate refrigerated lorries (C+E/HGV1) across RDCs, local depots, and commercial deliveries, while keeping paperwork current and compliant with WTD regulations.

The role requires 6 months to 1 year of HGV1 refrigerated driving experience, a valid HGV1/C+E licence, DCPC, a tachograph card, and strong English skills. Shift options include days, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must hold a valid DCPC card.
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card.
• Must have experience using palm couplings.
• Must not have more than 6 points on the licence.
• Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in HGV1 refrigerated driving.
• Must have a good level of English (speaking, writing, understanding).
• Must have solid working knowledge of the UK motorway network and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• Driving Class 1, CAT C+E, HGV1, LGV1 Refrigerated Lorries.
• A mix of RDC, Local Depots, and Commercial Deliveries.
• Ensuring all paperwork and electronic records are kept up to date.
• Maintaining accurate records of break times in accordance with WTD regulations.
• Adhering to both agency and client regulations and procedures.

• Pay Rate: £17.00 – £26.00ph+ (Minimum 10 hours) – Paid Weekly


• Contract: 12 Weeks / Ongoing / Ad hoc
