Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Refrigeration Class 1 Driver for Southampton/Eastleigh. Temp to perm potential with 12 weeks ongoing engagement and weekly pay. Shifts include days, nights and weekends.

You will drive refrigerated Lorries (HGV1/C+E), manage paperwork, and observe WTD rules. Requires HGV1, DCPC, tachograph, palm couplings, and a clean licence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Must hold a valid DCPC card.
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card.
• Must have experience using palm couplings.
• Licence must have no more than 6 points.
• At least 6 months to 1 year of HGV1 refrigerated driving experience.
• Good level of English (speaking, writing, understanding).

Responsibilities

• Drive Refrigerated Lorries (HGV1/C+E) across RDCs, depots and commercial deliveries.
• Keep paperwork and electronic records up to date.
• Maintain accurate break-time records per WTD regulations.
• Adhere to agency and client regulations and procedures.

• Must have experience using palm couplings
• Must not have more than 6 points on the licence
• Must have at least 6 months - 1 years’ experience in HGV1 refrigerated driving
• Must have a good level of English (speaking, writing, and understanding)
• Must have a solid working knowledge of the UK motorway road network and WTD regulations
