VC Evidensia UK in Cramlington is seeking a skilled Referral Veterinary Surgeon to provide advanced surgical care in a multidisciplinary referral hospital. You will manage a varied caseload while collaborating with a highly skilled team.

The ideal candidate has a veterinary degree, RCVS registration, and experience in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The position offers a competitive salary, generous CPD allowance, and access to advanced facilities.

Qualifications

• A Veterinary degree with RCVS registration.
• Surgery Certificate Holder, Advanced Practitioner or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing a range of soft tissue procedures.
• Experience in orthopaedic surgery.
• Interest in soft tissue surgery would be advantageous.
• Experience interpreting CT imaging is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a referral surgical caseload.
• Perform a range of soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures.
• Work closely with Surgery, Medicine, and ECC teams.
• Provide clear communication to referring vets and clients.
• Contribute to clinical discussions and service development.
