Job summary

Taskmaster Resources Ltd is recruiting a Recycling Yard Operative for our client in Sharnbrook, Bedford MK44. The role is mainly outdoors, involving yard cleaning, waste removal, and equipment cleaning.

You may need to train to operate a recycling baler and forklift. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00-17:00, with PPE provided for outdoor work and a focus on safety and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Able to work outside in all weather conditions with PPE provided.
• Manual handling includes lifting heavy items.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work; team player when needed.
• Willingness to train on recycling baler and forklift.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning of the yard area, sweeping, mopping, waste removal, breaking up boxes/packaging.
• Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks of equipment.
• Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
• Site maintenance tasks as experience allows.

Taskmaster Resources Ltd are currently looking to recruit a Recycling Yard Operative to join the expanding team of our client based in Sharnbrook, Bedford MK44.

About the Role:

• Position will mainly be working outside in the yard area.
• General cleaning of the yard area, sweeping, mopping, waste removal, breaking up boxes/packaging etc.
• Carry out deep cleaning and detailed cleaning tasks of equipment.
• Notify management of deficiencies or repairs required.
• Site maintenance tasks (subject to experience).

Skills and experience:

• Happy to work outside in all weather conditions (PPE will be provided).
• Physical capabilities, this is a manual position that includes lifting.
• High level of attention-to-detail.
• Good organisational abilities.
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.
• Positive and approachable manner - Team player.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be prepared to train to use a recycling baler and forklift.

Monday – Friday: 07:00- 17:00

Pay rate

£13.00PH
