Job summary

ctrg is looking for a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative to join their Livingston site in EH54 8TB. The role involves supporting cardboard and plastic recycling processes and tray washing, in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

You will work rotating day and night shifts (4 on 4 off). Training is provided, and there are opportunities for a permanent contract for the right candidate. Holiday pay is included. This position offers development opportunities within a growing operation.

Responsibilities

• Load empty trays onto the wash machine.

ctrg is looking for a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative to join their client's warehouse in Livingston, EH54 8TB.

This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process, as well as tray wash operation, for one of the leading grocery supermarkets. The site is fast-paced, and diverse, with plenty of development opportunities.

Your typical working hours as a full time Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• 06:00 - 18:00 & 18:00 - 06:00 rotating days & nights 4 on 4 off.
• Must have previous night shift experience.

• Holiday pay

What you'll do on a typical day as a Recycling Warehouse Operative:

• Load empty trays onto the wash machine ready for cleaning
• Unload clean trays from the wash machine and stack them away ready for collection
• Empty cages of cardboard onto the baling machine ready for condensing
• Ensure a hazard free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy

What you need to succeed:

• No relatable experience is required - all training will be provided
• Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn something new
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Please note: This is a full time position therefore we are unable to accept any 20 hour visa restrictions. If you have completed your course, please provide a suitable completion letter from your university.
