Job summary

Panda is hiring an experienced Loading Shovel & 360 Grab Operator for our busy Widnes recycling facility. You will operate mobile plant to move, load and sort waste materials safely and efficiently.

The role requires valid plant operator tickets, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work in a busy environment while maintaining high housekeeping standards. You will contribute to safe, compliant operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Has experience operating loading shovels and 360 grabs.
• Holds relevant and valid plant operator tickets or licences.
• Understands mobile plant and workplace safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovels, 360 grabs, forklifts and other mobile plant.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Move and segregate materials to maximise recovery and recycling.
• Complete daily safety and defect checks before operating equipment.
• Identify and report unsuitable or non-conforming materials.
