Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy recycling facility. You will operate a 360 Grab and Loading Shovel and other site machinery, ensuring safe handling of recyclable materials in line with on-site procedures.

The role is full-time with 7:00am–5:00pm hours, Monday to Friday, offering a supportive environment and ongoing opportunity. Overtime is available at enhanced rates.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile plant machinery on site.
• Ability to perform daily checks and report defects.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday, 7:00–17:00, in a full-time role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 360 Grab and Loading Shovel to process and move recyclables.
• Safely operate site vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
• Carry out daily machine checks and report defects.
• Ensure machinery is operated per safety standards and procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations of the recycling facility.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist with general site duties when required.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join a busy recycling facility based in Leatherhead (KT22).

This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role involving the safe operation of mobile plant machinery, including 360 Grab and Loading Shovel equipment, to support the processing and movement of recyclable materials on site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machinery safely, efficiently and in line with site procedures, while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• . Operate a 360 Grab and Loading Shovel to process, move and load recyclable materials.
• . Safely operate site vehicles and mobile plant equipment.
• . Carry out daily machine checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
• . Ensure all machinery is operated in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.
• . Support the day-to-day running of the recycling facility.
• . Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• . Assist with general site duties when required.
• . £14.78 per hour basic rate.
• . Overtime available paid at £22.17 per hour.
• . Monday to Friday working hours, 7:00am - 5:00pm.
