Job summary

SUEZ in Leatherhead is seeking a site operative to provide excellent customer service, maintain a tidy site, and guide the public on how to maximise material recovery and divert waste from landfill.

You will also maintain accurate records of material removals and perform general administrative duties while helping ensure health and safety compliance at the site.

Job description

What will I be doing?

• Providing excellent levels of customer service.
• Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
• Advising and assisting the public on how to use the site in order to maximise recovery of materials deposited in the sites and divert waste from landfill.
• Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site and other administrative duties as required.
• Ensuring SUEZ UK complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by your actions or omissions.

What are the requirements?

• Full training and uniform/PPE will be provided.
• We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure site operations exceed the standards required.
• A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
