Job summary

Booker Group is seeking a Recruitment Team Leader to manage a team of seven Recruitment Coordinators supporting our Cash & Carry business. You will lead a high-quality recruitment service across our Branch and Distribution Centre network, driving hiring, supporting managers and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

Based at our Head Office in Wellingborough, the role is Monday to Friday, with 8.00am–5.30pm hours and some flexibility for rotation 8.00am–4.30pm or 9.00am–5.30pm as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous recruitment experience within an in-house team or recruitment agency.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
• Experience managing recruitment performance, reporting and KPIs.
• Knowledge of recruitment processes, compliance and employment legislation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the Recruitment Hub for the Branch and DC network.
• Drive recruitment activity to meet hiring needs across the business.
• Lead daily team meetings to manage priorities and workload.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to reach potential.
• Create an inclusive, engaging, high-performing team culture.
• Provide expert recruitment advice to hiring managers and People teams.
• Plan for peak recruitment periods and ensure readiness.
• Produce recruitment reports and analyze data.
• Champion best practice, policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and the recruitment experience.
• Support volume recruitment activity when required.
