Job summary

Adecco Group is seeking a Recruitment Team Leader to guide a high-performing team on a major Armed Forces recruitment programme in the UK. You will drive the candidate journey from application to onboarding, ensuring efficiency, governance and service excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and a focus on continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working model offered with 3 days in Solihull and 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams.
• Track record of delivering against KPIs and SLAs using data and insights.
• Ability to prioritise and manage high volumes of activity.
• Experience in a complex, high-volume RPO or recruitment environment.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end candidate journey and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), including talent pooling.

Responsibilities

• Delivering consistent team performance aligned with senior leadership strategy.
• Ensuring a robust capacity model to optimise delivery.
• Maintaining compliance and addressing any breaches promptly.
• Improving end-to-end recruitment processes.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Embedding a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Overseeing daily team operations and workload allocation.
• Monitoring team performance against KPIs and SLAs using data and metrics.
• Handling candidate escalations and ensuring timely resolution.
• Ensuring compliance with governance and contractual standards.
• Conducting regular KPI and productivity reviews.
• Driving continuous improvement using PERFORM methodologies.
• Supporting internal leadership meetings and stakeholder engagement.
