Job summary

Optical Express is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to manage recruitment for our contact centre in Glasgow City Centre. You will join an in-house team and oversee attraction, pre-screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates, with around 2 years’ experience preferred.

The role involves sourcing talent via advert management, active sourcing, head hunting, and using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and ATS. A competitive salary and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a contact centre.
• Experience with sourcing via online boards, social media, and LI Recruiter.
• Ability to organise interviews and manage offers.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve how the company attracts and selects new talent.
• Source candidates via adverts, active sourcing, and head hunting.
• Arrange and manage interviews and communicate with candidates.
• Pre-screen candidates by telephone/Teams before interviews.
• Prepare candidates with interview expectations and required info.
• Manage offers and onboarding processes.
• Review candidate databases daily for quality talent.
• Handle HR admin: right to work, qualifications verification.
• Ensure records comply with legal requirements.
• Work to timescales to fill vacancies.
