Job summary

Talent Finder in Preston City Centre is seeking a part-time Recruitment Resourcer for evenings (5PM-7PM) and Saturdays (9AM-1PM). It is an office-based role with salary negotiable DOE and a clear route to Consultant or Sales Closer.

You’ll spend much of your day on the phone, sourcing candidates, screening them, and matching them to live roles while hitting targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment or sales-focused roles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and rapport-building abilities.
• Comfortable with high-volume calling and target-driven work.

Responsibilities

• Make a high volume of outbound calls to candidates for live roles.
• Head-hunt and source through databases, job boards and LinkedIn.
• Screen candidates over the phone and shortlist for consultants.
• Build talent pipelines for current and future roles.
• Maintain accurate applicant tracking system records.
• Provide candidates with a first-class experience from start to finish.

The role in a nutshell

As our Recruitment Resourcer, you’ll be the engine of our recruitment process. Most of your day is spent on the phone: speaking to candidates, finding out what they’re great at, and matching the right people to our live roles. It’s busy, it’s fast-paced and there are targets. That’s exactly what makes it rewarding.

this is a phone-first role. You’ll make a high volume of calls every single day. If picking up the phone isn’t for you, this won’t be the right fit. But if you get a buzz from great conversations and hitting your numbers, you’ll love it here.

What you’ll be doing

• Making a high volume of outbound calls every day to candidates for our live vacancies
• Headhunting and sourcing through our database, job boards and LinkedIn
• Screening candidates over the phone, using sharp questions to understand their experience
• Shortlisting strong candidates and putting them forward to our consultants and management team
• Building talent pipelines for current and future roles
• Keeping our applicant tracking system (ATS) accurate and up to date
• Giving every candidate a first-class experience from start to finish

• Resilient. You thrive in a busy, high-pressure environment and bounce back quickly from a “no”.
• Hungry to learn. You take feedback on board and always want to get better.
• Organised. You have a good eye for detail and are comfortable using MS Office.

Experience: recruitment experience (agency or in-house) and ATS knowledge are a big plus, but not essential. If you’ve worked in sales, telesales, a call centre, customer service, hospitality or any role where you talk to people all day, we want to hear from you.
