Job summary

Wescot Credit Services in Telford seeks a Recruitment Officer to join our UK Talent Acquisition Team. You will partner with hiring managers, create compelling adverts, and proactively source talent across channels, including social media and direct search.

Responsibilities include screening, shortlisting, coordinating campaigns from attraction to offer, and ensuring GDPR-compliant records in Workday ATS. You’ll manage multiple vacancies with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

• Proven recruitment experience, including volume and BPO/contact centre recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of the Telford/regional recruitment market.
• Experience managing end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Direct sourcing via social media and recruitment platforms.

Location: Telford, TF3 4NT

Salary: £32,500 (based on 35 hours per week)

Reporting to: Talent Acquisition Team Leader

Hybrid: 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home

We're looking for a Recruitment Officer to join our UK Talent Acquisition Team in Telford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruiter who thrives on managing multiple vacancies, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

As a Recruitment Officer, You Will

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements
• Create engaging job adverts that attract high-quality candidates across multiple channels, including job boards and social media.
• Proactively source talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking, and other direct search methods.
• Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates against agreed criteria
• Manage recruitment campaigns from attraction through to offer stage
• Maintain accurate candidate records within Workday ATS and ensure GDPR compliance
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process
• Monitor recruitment activity and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously
• Contribute ideas and continuous improvements that enhance the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team
• Support wider recruitment and talent acquisition projects when required

What We're Looking For

• Proven recruitment experience, including volume and BPO/contact centre recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of the Telford and regional recruitment market.
• Experience managing the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Demonstrable success in sourcing talent through direct search, social media, and recruitment platforms.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Workday.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously.
• Knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment best practice, and pre-employment screening processes.
• Strong customer service focus with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Understanding of diversity and inclusion initiatives, employer branding, and recruitment metrics.
