Job summary

Wescot Credit Services in Telford is seeking a Recruitment Officer to join our UK Talent Acquisition Team. The role focuses on managing multiple vacancies, partnering with hiring managers, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.

You will source candidates through direct search, social media, job boards, and LinkedIn Recruiter; screen and shortlist against criteria; and guide stakeholders through the end-to-end process.

Qualifications

• Proven recruitment experience including volume and BPO/contact centre recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of the Telford and regional recruitment market.
• Experience managing the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle.
• Demonstrable success sourcing talent through direct search, social media, and recruitment platforms.
• Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ideally Workday.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring requirements.
• Create engaging job adverts that attract high-quality candidates across multiple channels, including job boards and social media.
• Proactively source talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, networking, and other direct search methods.
• Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates against agreed criteria.
• Manage recruitment campaigns from attraction through to offer stage.
• Maintain accurate candidate records within Workday ATS and ensure GDPR compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
• Monitor recruitment activity and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.
• Contribute ideas and continuous improvements that enhance the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team.
• Support wider recruitment and talent acquisition projects when required.
