Job summary

Juniper Training in Leeds is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Officer to lead student recruitment for our training programmes. You will actively recruit, build relationships with schools and agencies, promote pathways and Apprenticeships at events, and use social media to raise Juniper’s profile with prospective students.

You’ll interview applicants, complete paperwork, and help identify support needs to ensure students thrive.

  • Motivated and goal-driven with experience in sales, outreach, or marketing.
  • Organised and proactive with strong time-management skills.
  • Able to build rapport with young people and guide them on their career journey.

Responsibilities

  • Actively recruiting students through outreach, networking, and marketing activities.
  • Building strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and other referral sources.
  • Promoting Juniper pathways and Apprenticeships through career events, recruitment fairs, and pop-up shops.
  • Using social media to raise Juniper's profile and attract students.
  • Interviewing potential students and completing accurate paperwork.
  • Identifying support needs and creating initial support plans to ensure students thrive.
  • Ensuring our Telford centre meets its student recruitment targets.

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Recruitment Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll play a vital part in recruiting students onto our training programmes, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
  • Minimum of Level 2 English and Maths
  • Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
  • CEIAG Level 3/4 qualification
  • Experience working in education/training
  • Experience working with 16-18-year-olds
