Job summary

Juniper Training is seeking a Vocational/Employability Tutor on a 12-month maternity cover basis to join our Telford team. You will deliver engaging sessions, assess learner progress, and help learners set SMART goals to progress.

Applicants should have a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent), strong communication skills, and confidence with IT. The role is office-based at our Telford site in Shropshire, with a supportive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver Dynamic Training – Plan and deliver fun, interactive sessions that keep learners engaged and motivated.
• Assess & Feedback – Mark learner work, provide constructive feedback, and set SMART goals to help them progress.
• Develop the Curriculum – Keep our programs fresh and industry-relevant, ensuring learners get real-world skills.
• Support & Mentor – Be a role model, helping learners overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
• Keep Records Up to Date – Maintain accurate learner progress, attendance, and assessments (we promise, just the important stuff!).
• Work as a Team – Collaborate with colleagues, employers, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless learning experience.
• Stay Ahead of the Game – Engage in continuous professional development to keep your skills sharp and relevant.

What You Need to Bring to the Table

• A recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent)
• A passion for helping people succeed
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills (because engagement is key!)
• Confidence with IT (for record-keeping & lesson planning)
• Bonus points if you've worked as a Vocational or Employability Tutor before
