Job summary

Office Angels in Manchester is seeking a dynamic Recruitment Manager to lead the apprenticeship recruitment function, guiding learners from enquiry to placement and induction.

The role combines learner recruitment, employer engagement and administration, with safeguarding responsibilities and targets to meet. Regular travel to employers and schools is required; a driving licence and access to a car are advantageous. Office hours are 9.30am–5.30pm, Monday to Friday, office-based.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment within apprenticeships, education or related field.
• Understanding of regulations surrounding apprenticeships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employers.
• Ability to manage multiple applicants and vacancies simultaneously.
• Familiarity with databases and recruitment management systems.

• Learner Recruitment and Admissions: Manage the entire learner recruitment journey, from initial enquiry to successful apprenticeship placement and induction.
• Employer Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with employers and match applicants to vacancies.
• Data Management: Use recruitment systems to maintain records, monitor targets and generate reports.
• Safeguarding Commitment: Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies throughout recruitment.

Annual Salary: £30,000 - £36,000

9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday - office based

Key Responsibilities

• Learner Recruitment and Admissions:Manage the entire learner recruitment journey, from initial enquiry to successful apprenticeship placement and induction. Conduct interviews and provide clear guidance to prospective apprentices.
• Employer Engagement:Develop and maintain strong relationships employers. Identify new apprenticeship vacancies and ensure suitable applicants are matched to available roles
• Data Management:Utilise recruitment systems to maintain accurate records, monitor performance against targets and provide insightful reports to senior management
• Safeguarding Commitment: Uphold safeguarding and child protection policies, ensuring a safe and inclusive recruitment experience.
