Job summary

CDS Labour (Group UK) Ltd in Torpoint is seeking an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. You will manage the coordination of temporary workers, source, recruit, and onboard staff, and maintain staffing levels to meet client demand.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, a proactive approach, and flexibility for occasional weekend work. A full UK driving licence is essential as you will visit client sites and coordinate transport and shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, workforce planning, coordination, or a similar role.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Occasional weekend work when required.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Manage the coordination of temporary workers to support our client’s needs.
• Ensure the smooth delivery of recruitment operations.
• Source, recruit, and onboard temporary workers.
• Maintain staffing levels to ensure all bookings and workforce demands are fulfilled.
• Coordinate worker schedules, shift allocations, and transport arrangements.
• Prepare and manage daily rotas, including shift times, locations, and PPE requirements.
• Provide ongoing support, guidance, and welfare checks to temporary workers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through regular communication and site visits.
• Attend client sites to monitor attendance, resolve operational issues, and maintain service standards.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure recruitment, planning, and transport functions operate effectively.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records to ensure compliance and employment legislation are met at all times.
