What You'll Be Doing
- Managing candidates from initial vacancy briefing through to offer, onboarding and induction.
- Supporting job advertising and candidate attraction activities across multiple channels.
- Sourcing candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards and professional networks.
- Screening applications and conducting initial candidate assessments and interviews.
- Coordinating interview schedules and supporting interview panels.
- Building strong relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders across the business.
- Providing recruitment updates, market insights and hiring progress reports.
- Ensuring recruitment records and candidate data are accurately maintained.
- Working within recruitment systems, including Workday, to track candidate activity and maintain compliance.
- Supporting smooth transitions from recruitment into onboarding and contract generation processes.
- Undertaking occasional travel to RAF Shawbury to support local recruitment activity and stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Essential Experience Previous experience supporting or managing recruitment activities within an in-house or agency environment.
- Experience verifying candidate qualifications, technical certifications and specialist licences.
- Understanding of UK pre-employment screening processes and security clearance requirements, including BPSS and SC clearance environments.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive and candidate-focused approach.
Desirable Experience
- Experience using Workday or similar recruitment systems.
- CIPD qualification or equivalent HR-related experience.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working within aerospace, defence, engineering or highly regulated environments.
