Job summary

Pertemps is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to join our Reading team. You will develop client relationships, match candidates to temporary and permanent roles, and provide expert guidance in a fast-paced sales environment.

The role offers a base salary of £28,000 with uncapped commission, Monday to Thursday 07:30–17:00, Friday 07:30–16:30, plus 24 days holiday and discounts. Training and development support are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with customer-facing or sales background.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships at all stages of recruitment.
• Meet or exceed individual and branch targets through proactive service delivery.
• Match candidates to roles ensuring skills align with client requirements.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical recruitment standards.
• Manage payroll processes for flexible workers to ensure timely payments.
