Job summary

Allen & York Ltd is seeking a Junior Recruitment Consultant to start a career in a purpose-driven environment, focusing on building relationships with clients and candidates in the green economy.

This role offers a competitive salary with commission, hybrid working (3 days in the office), on-the-job training and ongoing development, and the chance to develop a specialist market across Environment, Energy, Sustainability, ESG and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and candidates and understand their needs.

• Manage candidates through the recruitment process from initial talk to offer.

We’re looking for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity if you’re looking to start your recruitment career and you’re commercially minded, enjoy working with people and have a genuine interest in sustainability and the environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Building relationships with clients and candidates and understanding their needs.
• Sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates for specialist roles.
• Developing your own candidate network and talent pools.
• Supporting business development and identifying new opportunities.
• Writing engaging job adverts and social media content.
• Managing candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial conversation through to offer.
• Working towards clear KPIs and revenue targets, with training and support to help you succeed.

You’ll ideally have:
