This is a busy, varied role and one that would suit someone who enjoys a stimulating work environment and having the opportunity to develop or start your career within HR.
In this role, you will provide first-line support to managers recruiting for both academic and non-academic roles and will have ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle. With full training and support provided, you will soon become proficient at each step, from advising and guiding stakeholders in the initial vacancy creation to advertising, contract creation and new starter onboarding communications.
You'll provide email and phone-based support on a whole range of queries, from setting up new vacancies, visa requirements, advertising options, setting up interviews, contracts and right-to-work checks. Using our Recruitment ATS (Stonefish) and Payroll system (iTrent), along with MS Office you will co-ordinate and administer the whole recruitment process, to deliver an outstanding experience for managers and candidates.
To be successful in this role, you will enjoy focusing on the detail, whilst being adept at multi-tasking and unfazed by the demands of multiple stakeholders. You may have experience within a busy HR Recruitment team, but crucially you will need the drive to develop your HR Recruitment skills. Other key things we will be looking for are:
Experience writing content for websites, job adverts, and profiles would be advantageous, but not essential.
This role is fixed term, with an expected duration of 18 months, to cover a secondment.

This position is full-time (36.5 hours) per week, but we're flexible and open to discussing job-sharing arrangements to ensure continuous full-time coverage.
