What You Will Do
  • Partner and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the bank to understand resourcing needs in the short and long term.
  • Design, develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality candidates, leveraging channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Identify and engage top talent through headhunting and direct sourcing to support succession planning and talent pipelining.
  • Provide guidance on recruitment best practices, standards, and compliance, including assessment methods, interview techniques, and employee value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the wider People Team to align recruitment with HR initiatives like organizational design and reward strategies.
  • Monitor recruitment metrics, analyze trends, and suggest improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, legal requirements, and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory standards.
  • Build relationships with external partners, including executive search firms.

What You Will Need
  • Understanding of risks related to your role and their implications.
  • Extensive experience in end-to-end recruitment, particularly in banking or finance, with skills in headhunting, market mapping, and sourcing.
  • Adaptability, agility, and ability to work in a high-performing team.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills: partnering, influencing, and advising effectively.
  • Ability to deliver excellent candidate experiences aligned with the bank’s values.
  • Experience integrating DE&I principles into sourcing and hiring practices.
  • Proficiency in recruitment metrics, analytics, and talent pipeline management.
  • Experience leading recruitment projects and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of recruitment technologies, ATS, social media, AI, and sourcing techniques.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and holding them accountable.
  • Conflict resolution skills and professionalism.
  • Comfort with data presentation and reporting to colleagues and senior leaders.
  • Understanding of banking regulations affecting recruitment.
  • Strategic thinking and proactive problem-solving skills.
