Job description

The Drive:

The Collecting Group (TCG) is a high-growth company redefining the auction industry for car and watch enthusiasts. We're seeking a results-driven Recruiter, with a proven track record of attracting top talent, managing the full recruitment cycle and fostering collaborative, high performing teams.

The Mission

At TCG we're looking for a dynamic Recruiter to join our team in London. You will play a critical role in shaping our future by attracting, engaging, and onboarding high-quality talent who align with our core values and contribute to our continued success. In this role you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and candidate management to offer negotiation, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

The Challenge

Recruitment and Hiring

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of roles across the organisation, from initial briefing with key stakeholders to the onboarding.
  • Proactively identify and attract top talent through a variety of sourcing channels, including online job boards, social media platforms, professional networking sites, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and candidate experience, staying ahead of industry best practices and innovative sourcing techniques.

Stakeholder and Candidate Management

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers across different departments, acting as a trusted advisor on all recruitment matters.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to hiring managers on recruitment processes, interview techniques, and candidate assessment.
  • Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience at every touchpoint, reflecting TCG's core values and fostering a strong sense of connection to our company.
  • Collaborate effectively with the broader HR team to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new hires.

Interview and Process Management

  • Review applications and CVs, conduct thorough initial screenings (phone and potentially video), and coordinate comprehensive interview schedules to accurately assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Prepare and extend offers of employment, clearly communicating terms and benefits, skillfully negotiate where necessary, and manage the offer acceptance and pre-boarding process.
  • Maintain accurate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS - Workable) ensuring data integrity for reporting and compliance purposes.
  • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, innovative best practices in talent acquisition, and the competitive landscape to ensure TCG remains a top destination for talent.

The Specs (What We'll Need From You)

  • 4+ years of proven experience in Recruitment, with a strong track record of success in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a start-up or high-growth company.
  • Demonstrable experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial requisition to offer and onboarding.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a genuine passion for connecting with people and driving our company values through talent acquisition.
  • Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities with speed and accuracy.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working with others to improve processes and contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
  • Data-driven and comfortable evaluating and communicating key recruitment metrics across teams to inform decision-making and measure success.
  • Demonstrable experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with prior experience using Workable being a significant bonus.
  • Strong experience leveraging LinkedIn and other relevant platforms for proactive candidate sourcing and engagement.

The Pit Stop:

Parsons Green, London. You'll be predominantly based here, our London HQ. You'll need full UK working rights (sorry, we're unable to provide sponsorship for this position).

The Fuel:

  • 25 days holiday (plus an additional day each year after 2 years tenure).
  • Private medical insurance for you and your family with Vitality.
  • Company pension contribution.
  • Access to professional development resources and opportunities.
  • Annual Learning & Development budget to support your professional growth.
  • Monthly social budget to enjoy team activities and build connections.

The Finish Line:

If you're a results-driven recruiter with a passion for connecting with people and have a proven track record of attracting top talent and managing the full recruitment cycle, we want you on our team!
