Be part of something extraordinary as we prepare to open one of the newest and most impressive leisure facilities in the area. The facility will become a hub for health, wellbeing, and community activity, and we're looking for talented, motivated individuals who want to be part of something special.
Whether you're looking to develop your career, make a positive impact in the community, or be part of an ambitious and forward-thinking team, this role could be perfect for you.
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals to join our team as Leisure Assistants, with a primary focus on our exciting new Adventure Zone. This unique space will feature soft play, sensory experiences, interactive activities and a play café, providing a fun, safe and welcoming environment for children, young people and families.
A typical day could involve welcoming customers, supervising and interacting with guests within the Adventure Zone, supporting the operation of interactive play features, carrying out cleaning and safety checks, assisting with birthday parties and helping to ensure an outstanding customer experience. While the role may occasionally provide support in other areas of the leisure centre, the Adventure Zone will be the main focus of the position.
We are looking for energetic individuals with excellent communication skills and a strong motivation to provide exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will be able to work well as part of a team, remain calm in busy environments and demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety principles and procedures.
These are casual positions, and we are looking to build a flexible team that can support the operation across a range of hours. Opportunities will be available during weekdays, early evenings, weekends and school holidays, and we welcome applications from individuals with varying availability.
As a casual worker, the council will enhance your hourly rate by 12.07% to compensate you for annual leave. You will have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the council is not obliged to offer you work.
