Job summary

Lex Leisure is looking for a casual Recreation Assistant at Erith Leisure Centre. The role focuses on safety and enjoyment for all users and assisting with the daily operations of the centre to provide a varied and rewarding day for staff and customers.

You will work as part of a team, communicate across the organisation, and be flexible to meet the demands of the role, including additional hours when required. Training is provided, and equality and inclusion are core values of Lex Leisure.

Qualifications

• National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification is desirable but successful applicants will be provided with full training.
• The position is subject to a DBS check.
• Able to gain acceptance and respect from clients and teams.
• Able to communicate throughout the organisation.
• Able to meet the demands of the role by working additional hours when required.
• Demonstrate clear identification with all customer requirements.
• Be a team player.
• Develop the role on your own initiative.

The role of Recreation Assistant is a great position to be able to carry out and be involved in the full range of leisure activities. Continually customer facing, the role provides rewarding opportunities. Meeting new people, variation in both activities and learning provides an exciting working day, every day, for our Recreation Assistants.

The Job

• To partake in the management of all aspects of the daily activities of the Centre.

The Person
