The Forward Trust is hiring a Recovery Worker for HMP Wormwood Scrubs in London. You will join an integrated healthcare team, delivering structured interventions and psychosocial support to adults 18+.

The role focuses on recovery from drug and alcohol use within a secure environment, with opportunities to work with housing, employment, probation and community services. You will manage caseloads, complete assessments, and help service users access additional services while maintaining detailed

Formación

• Experience in psychosocial support or substance misuse services
• Ability to build trusted relationships with service users
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage complex cases

Responsabilidades

• Manage a caseload of service users with structured 1:1 interventions and group sessions
• Complete assessments, risk management plans and personalised care plans
• Deliver drug and alcohol interventions using harm reduction and abstinence-based approaches
• Provide motivation and support to help service users progress toward recovery
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and partner agencies including housing, employment and probation
• Support service users to access additional services and build positive pathways beyond treatment
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service outcomes and performance targets
