Waythrough is seeking a Recovery Worker for the Tameside Supported Housing Service, a 24/7 mental health and community-based program. The role focuses on helping adults 18+ on their recovery journey, supporting tenancy, skills development, and independent living.

Training is provided and empathy is valued as essential for compassionate, person-centred care. The position requires working a 24-hour shift pattern, including on-call duties, with a permanent contract and 37 hours per week.

Formación

• No previous experience is required; full training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a rotating 24-hour shift pattern and participate in on-call duties.
• Understanding of mental health issues or lived experience is welcome.

• Maintain tenancy and support independent living skills.
• Build confidence and resilience through personalised support planning.
• Develop budgeting, cooking, and household management skills.
• Help service users access work, education, volunteering, and leisure opportunities.
