Job summary

Change Grow Live in Brighton & Hove is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage with service users, ensuring access to the right intervention at the right time within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The role supports patients through the recovery journey and requires strong communication, governance awareness and collaborative work with a diverse network of professionals.

The contract is 6 months fixed term, with potential extensions.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Coordinator who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

With this role you’ll be working as part of the St Thomas Rehab Service, based in Brighton and Hove. Initially, the cotract is for 6 months with potential for extensions. The team supports people with their drug and aloholissues in an inpatient rehabilitation service.

Where: Hove

Hours: 37.5 per week

Contract Type: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

What we are looking for:

• Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances.
• Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
• Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisingskills.
• Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
• Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
• Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
• Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.

What we will give to you:

• 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally, you'll receive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us.
