Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• One+ year of relevant work experience in a behavioral facility preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• CPR and de-escalation certification may be required.
• First aid may be required by state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Drives company vehicles to transport clients for admissions, appointments, activity trips, discharges, and events.
• Picks up or transports visitors or staff as needed.
• Ensures all passengers wear seatbelts before vehicle start.
• Maintains supervision of clients and follows safety policies.
• Provides verbal reports to the incoming shift and completes transportation documentation.
• Maintains vehicle logs and reports maintenance issues.
• Responds to units to assist in behavioral events when needed.
