Job summary

Lifeways is seeking Mental Health Support Workers in Stainforth, Doncaster to help people transition from hospital settings to their own homes and communities. You will work closely with clients to promote independence and support their recovery journey, in a person-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Understanding of challenges faced by people with mental health conditions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to promote independence and recovery.
• Build confidence and support ongoing recovery journey.
• Work within the Enhanced Community Recovery service in Stainforth.
• Assist across early, late and sleep-in shifts.
