Job summary

Lifeways is seeking compassionate Recovery Support Workers for our Enhanced Community Recovery service in Bentley, Doncaster. You will work closely with clients to promote independence and support their recovery journey, delivering person-centred care in a community setting.

We are looking for people who can show empathy, strong communication, and a commitment to empowering individuals with enduring mental health needs. This full-time role requires flexibility across shifts to meet rotas.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with mental health needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Confident using IT systems (Word, databases, email).
• NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage.

Full-time 37.5-hour contract. Must be flexible to work early, late and sleep-in shifts on a rota basis Monday to Sunday.

About the role

We are seeking caring, honest and innovative individuals to join our dedicated team of Recovery Support Workers within our Enhanced Community Recovery supported living service in Bentley, Doncaster. In this role, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, build confidence and support their ongoing recovery journey.

About you

• You must have previous experience supporting people with mental health needs.


• You understand the challenges faced by people living with mental health conditions and are committed to providing compassionate, recovery–focused support.


• You have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.


• You are confident using IT systems, including Word, databases and email.


• An NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care is an advantage, but not essential
