Job summary
Phoenix Futures in Basildon is recruiting a Dependency and Recovery Worker to support clients with complex needs in partnership with Essex Probation. You will assist with assessments for ATR/DRR/MHRT and provide psychosocial support within probation settings.
You will liaise with prisons, upskill probation staff, and help people in recovery through relapse prevention and care planning, contributing to effective multi-agency care.
Qualifications
- Experience with problematic substance and alcohol use and related interventions.
- Proven partnership working across agencies to benefit clients.
- Ability to manage a busy caseload and stay organised.
- Proficiency in Outlook/Word and familiarity with database systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel across County Essex.
- Criminal justice experience is desirable.
- Experience creating person-centred care plans.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with Prisons to ensure smooth transition to community services.
- Support Essex Probation to upskill staff on substance/alcohol use.
- Assist clients in recovery with relapse prevention and care planning.
- Build partnerships with other agencies and teams.
- Assist with assessments for ATR/DRR/MHRT in court.
