Job summary

Phoenix Futures Group in Swadlincote is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Practitioner to support adults who are involved with the criminal justice system. You will coordinate care, deliver 1:1 and group psychosocial and harm-reduction interventions, and help reduce drug/alcohol use and reoffending while collaborating with local services.

The role covers outreach within Swadlincote and South Derbyshire, requires a driving licence, and offers training and a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Must have driving licence and access to own vehicle for work.
• Willing to learn and work in drug and alcohol field with commitment to helping people involved in the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and deliver 1:1 and group psychosocial and harm reduction interventions.
• Engage people in Swadlincote and South Derbyshire; work with those on licence conditions, ATR/DRR orders, or IOM.
• Liaise with Courts, Liaison and Diversion, Prison healthcare, Probation and other services to plan community-based care.
