Job summary

THE NEHEMIAH PROJECT is seeking a Recovery Practitioner to support men rebuilding their lives in Streatham, Croydon and Clapham. The role is on-site, 35 hours per week, with a £33,500 salary and permanent contract.

You will assess needs, develop recovery plans, deliver individual and group support, and help residents gain independent living skills while maintaining safeguarding and strong records.

Qualifications

  • Experience in addiction recovery, homelessness, mental health or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of residents and provide ongoing support.
  • Complete assessments and develop recovery plans.
  • Deliver one-to-one support and facilitate recovery groups.
  • Support residents with independent living skills and personal goals.
  • Carry out drug and alcohol testing in line with procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Promote safeguarding and resident wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with health services, housing, and probation partners.
