Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage service users, ensuring access to the right intervention at the right time within Dudley-based services.

You will deliver screening, assessment and recovery planning, undertake onward referrals, reduce harm and promote involvement of carers, service users and the wider community.

This permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours) offers a supportive team, generous annual leave and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse and related services.
• Experience designing and delivering groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management.
• Collaborative approach with partners and stakeholders.
• Commitment to information governance and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Supporting service users from entry into the service and through recovery.
• Providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reducing drug and alcohol harm to service users and wider community.
• Promoting involvement of carers, service users and community.
• Advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Supporting social reintegration and promoting resilience and peer support.
• Research, design and preparation of materials for groups.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups/pods have taken place.
• Tailor workshops to the needs of service users.
