Job summary

Change Grow Live in Rugby is seeking a Recovery Coordinator to assess and engage service users, guiding them to the right interventions at the right time. You will support individuals from entry through treatment, providing screening, assessment and recovery planning, and promoting involvement of carers and the wider community while upholding safeguarding and information governance.

This permanent, full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week with pro rata salary, joining a values-driven charity

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse issues and related services.
• Experience with group/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage new service users into treatment as part of Entry Into Service.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol harm for service users and the wider community.
• Promote involvement of carers, service users and community.
• Advocate for access to partnership services.
• Support social reintegration and promote recovery and resilience.
• Prepare materials for groups/pods and deliver structured content.
• Debrief with co-facilitators and review progress with service users.
• Tailor workshops to meet service user needs.
