Job summary

Change Grow Live is seeking a Recovery Coordinator in Rugby to assess and engage service users, ensuring access to the right interventions at the right time. You will work flexibly to meet individual needs while promoting recovery and social reintegration.

Key duties include screening, recovery planning, and onward referrals, plus delivering group content and facilitating workshops. Strong communication and governance awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of substance misuse and related field experience.
• Experience with groups/pods and managing group dynamics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with good IT skills.
• Proactive with excellent time management and prioritising.
• Knowledge of mental health interventions and good practice.
• Ability to work in partnership with a wide range of professionals, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage change prioritising service users' needs.
• Understand information governance and safeguarding requirements.
• Willingness to learn and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Engage new service users into treatment as part of the Entry Into Service role.
• Provide screening, assessment, recovery planning and onward referral.
• Reduce drug and alcohol related harm to service users and the wider community.
• Promote carer, service user and community involvement.
• Provide advocacy for access to partnership services.
• Work with service users to support social reintegration, promoting recovery and resilience.
• Research, design and prepare materials for groups/pods.
• Deliver structured content within group settings to service users at various stages of recovery.
• Engage in debriefing and evaluations with co-facilitators after groups, reviewing progress and concerns.
• Tailor workshops to meet service users' needs.
