Job summary

Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Clinical Lead/Team Manager for the Recovery Pathways Service in Manchester. The role is a 6-month secondment, full-time 37.5 hours, with flexible start/end discussions and travel across Manchester.

The post includes responsibility for staff supervision, referrals, and clinical governance, with on-call rota involvement as required. Based at Zion Centre, it offers leadership in a dynamic, recovery-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Registered mental health professional with NHS experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing referrals.
• Strong knowledge of recovery-focused approaches.

Responsibilities

• Connect Recovery Pathways with wider clinical services and promote equitable access.
• Support and manage staff to deliver quality services, oversee referrals and performance.
• Supervise a multi-disciplinary team and lead service development aligned with guidelines.
• Lead changes to practice and policy; implement systems for inclusive recovery.
• Coordinate external training and presentations with senior management; ensure evidence-base.
• Contribute to safe discharge planning and partnership working.
