Job summary

Change Grow Live is recruiting for a role within the Drug and Alcohol Recovery team at HMP Humber. The post involves delivering group psychosocial interventions and some one-to-one support to service users in a prison environment, aiming to promote recovery and social reintegration.

The role offers full-time hours (37.5 per week) with pro rata for part-time, a contributory pension, wellness initiatives, and opportunities for training and progression.

Qualifications

• Recovery-focused approach and knowledge of psychosocial interventions.
• Ability to deliver group and one-to-one support.
• Awareness of information governance and safeguarding protocols.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and staff development.

Responsibilities

• Initiate recovery from drug and/or alcohol dependence within prison service users.
• Develop and deliver group psychosocial interventions tailored to caseload needs.
• Be creative to meet service user needs and promote access to treatment.
• Assess suitability for groups with risk and special needs, coordinating with prison partners.
